Ban Sime Astar Prima adalah ban berkecepatan tinggi ber-profil rendah (V-Rated) yang mampu dipacu hingga kecepatan 240km/jam dalam keadaan kering maupun basah.  Ban Sime Astar Prima menggunakan Jointless Bandage Technology (JLB), yaitu dimana lapisan ban tidak memiliki sambungan.  Telapak yang kokoh & komponen khusus yang optimal membuat cengkeraman ban sangat baik.  Telapak ban Astar Prima yang lebar & dalam memberikan hasil yang maksimal dalam pembuangan air.

Sime Tyres Astar Prima is a low-profile high performance V-rated passenger car tyre specifically designed for high speed (up to 240km/h handling in both wet & dry).  It uses Jointless Bandage Technology (JLB) that helps to provide high speed stability.  The sturdy tread blocks & enhanced tread compound provides optimal road holding & grip.  The hard apex compound gives rapid & precise steering response.  Astar Prima wide & deep grooves provides maximum water channelling & therefore enhance resistance to aquaplaning.
