Polypropylene (PP) is a very versatile polymer. It is a strong, light-weight, low-density plastic used in food packaging, it also acts as a fiber. PP has a high melting point (160˚C/320˚F), making it suitable for hot food processing & packaging. It is also used to make textiles, plastic parts, reusable containers, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers, automotive components, ropes that float, indoor & outdoor carpets used in swimming pools & miniature golf courses, luggage & polymer banknotes.
